Efficient all-mountain touring ski with 86mm waist from VölklThe Völkl Blaze 86 is a lightweight, agile all-mountain ski built for skiers who want freeride-inspired performance without the weight penalty of heavier metal-laminate construction. At 86mm underfoot, it sits in the versatile mid-width category — nimble enough for quick, snappy turns on groomed pistes, capable enough to handle off-piste excursions and variable conditions with confidence.
Unlike the Blaze 94, the Blaze 86 contains no Titanal layer, making it noticeably lighter and more responsive underfoot. The core is Völkl's Multilayer Woodcore Light — hard wood in the binding zone for stability, surrounded by very light slotted wood in the outer areas to reduce swing weight and keep the ski quick and manoeuvrable from tip to tail.
Völkl's 3D Radius Sidecut gives the Blaze 86 three distinct turn radii in a single ski. Long radii in the tip and tail deliver smoothness and stability at speed, while a tighter radius underfoot makes short turns effortless and instinctive — transitioning seamlessly between mogul runs, tree lines, and open groomers.
Suspension Tips and Tails — elastic TPU inserts at the tip and tail edges — absorb chatter in wind-affected, tracked-out or variable snow, keeping the ski settled where lesser skis would deflect. Full ABS sidewalls ensure direct, precise power transfer from boot to edge.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
