Expert freeride snowboard with D3O dampening rods, dual carbon stringers and a graphite-infused base.The Stranda Descender Evolution 2027 is the high-end version of Stranda's freeride benchmark - a directional charger built for expert riders who want technical lines, high-speed stability, damp control and uncompromising edge grip. If the standard Descender is quick and lively, the EVO is the locked-in weapon. It shares the Descender's proven shape - rockered nose and tail for float and easy turn initiation, 5mm camber underfoot with the high point past the rear inserts - but the layup is where it separates. Dual carbon stringers and carbon torsion rods sit in a triax fibreglass package over a paulownia and poplar core with full-length ash stringers, and three D3O dampening rods in the nose kill chatter through broken snow and chopped-up landings.
Underneath, an Electra Graphite 5920 sintered base is infused with graphite for serious glide across flats and long traverses. The flex is stiff and stiffest at the centre of the sidecut, softening outside the inserts so the board still initiates turns willingly for its stiffness. Ride it in your traditional freeride size - size up for more float, size down for technical, tight-line performance.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
