Men's midweight baselayer zip-neck — Polartec® Power Grid™, Polygiene® — Smolder BlueThe Patagonia Men's Capilene Midweight Zip-Neck is widely regarded as the most versatile baselayer in the Patagonia range, hitting the sweet spot between warmth, breathability and moisture management that allows it to be worn alone in cool conditions or beneath layers in the cold. The fabric is Polartec® Power Grid™ — a double-knit polyester construction with a smooth jersey face for easy layering and a brushed-back grid structure next to the skin that actively wicks moisture, traps warmth and maximises breathability. Solid colour versions use 93% recycled-polyester content.
Polygiene® permanent odour control is integrated into the fabric, maintaining freshness through active use without washing — a practical feature for multi-day trips or back-to-back mountain days. A long centre-front zip with kissing welts behind the zipper provides low-bulk venting without cold spots. Full underarm gussets allow unhindered shoulder and arm movement, and elastic thumb loops provide secure hand coverage and prevent sleeve ride-up. Offset shoulder seams sit flat beneath pack straps. Flatlock seams minimise chafing throughout. A drop-tail hem provides increased coverage when active.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
