Reduced to the essentials, the Probe 240 uses a quick-lock assembly system that deploys the full 240cm length in seconds with no fumbling required, and collapses just as quickly once the search is complete. The 11mm aluminium construction keeps weight to just 200g — light enough to carry without noticing, and stiff enough to penetrate efficiently through variable snow densities.
A large probe tip with a significantly wider diameter than the probe elements themselves improves penetration by reducing friction and creating a bore channel larger than the probe body, allowing the probe to withdraw cleanly rather than freezing in place. The visual guide system features clearly legible depth markers, a definitive 1-metre marker and an orange-coloured bottom segment that provides immediate visual confirmation when approaching the buried person during the shovelling phase. Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
