SUMMARY
The Ortovox Haute Route 32 is a classic ski touring backpack built for demanding multi-day tours and longer backcountry...The Ortovox Haute Route 32 is a classic ski touring backpack built for demanding multi-day tours and longer backcountry excursions. It has been part of the Ortovox range almost since the beginnings of ski touring as a sport, and its enduring appeal comes from a combination of tough materials, intelligent organisation and an ergonomic carry system that excels over long distances. The outer fabrics use Cordura® combined with a PFC-free double-layered Polyamide 420D Oxford with PU coating, making the pack highly resistant to abrasion and reliably water resistant across all surfaces.
The O-Flex-2 back system features an S-shaped stabiliser and load control cords that distribute weight evenly between the hips and shoulders, with hip fins that connect inside the back system to wrap seamlessly around the body. The spacious 32-litre main compartment is accessible from both the top and back, while a separate safety compartment provides rapid access to emergency equipment. A rope attachment on the lid allows packing and unpacking without opening the bag. Ski attachment is available in both classic and diagonal configurations, with additional fixings for a snowboard, crampon, ice axe/poles and a fixed helmet net.
