The principle is straightforward: a thin Merino layer adds a significant amount of insulation without materially increasing the bulk of the overall glove system. Merino wool’s natural crimp structure traps warm air efficiently, and at 190gsm the Volta has enough mass to make a tangible difference to glove warmth even in very cold conditions.
The Volta also works well on its own for mild conditions or indoor use — the slim fit means they retain dexterity for touchscreens, zipper operation and other tasks that require finger sensitivity. Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
