As a three-segment pole, the Haute Route 3 collapses significantly shorter than a two-piece design, making it easier to stow on a pack during technical or couloir sections where poles are a liability. When deployed, it adjusts quickly to the full range using the Speed Lock Plus lever system. The Aergon grip combines a large, ergonomic support zone at the grip head with an edge-free outer profile that is comfortable in bare hands or thin liner gloves.
The extended grip runs down the shaft below the main handle, allowing the grip to be chopped down on steep switchbacks or traverses without adjusting pole length — a significant time saver on technical terrain. Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
