The Nansen name honours Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen, who made the first crossing of Greenland in 1888 — dressed in Devold wool. The modern Nansen Cardigan carries that same rugged, dependable character into everyday use, with a zip opening that allows precise temperature regulation however hard you are working.
Knitted from 100% pure new wool sourced from Norwegian sheep, the Nansen Cardigan is thick, naturally insulating and breathable, keeping you warm without overheating and continuing to perform when damp. Originally built for fishermen and coastal workers along the harsh Norwegian coast, the Nansen has since become one of the most trusted midlayer and outer garments in the Devold range. Pre-washed for softness and to eliminate post-purchase shrinkage, it comes in a unisex cut with comfortable ribbed cuffs and hem. The zip includes a chin guard to prevent chafing.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
