Designed in 1995 by Italian designer Olmes Carretti, its two-colour Jacquard pattern draws on Devold knitting traditions from the 1800s, giving this sweater a distinctive retro character that looks as good in town as it does on the mountain. It is a true crossover piece — equally capable as a midlayer on cold ski days or as a standalone sweater for everyday wear.
Knitted from 100% wool sourced from Norwegian sheep, the Alnes is naturally insulating, breathable and moisture-wicking — keeping you warm without overheating, and continuing to insulate even when damp. The sweater is pre-washed at the factory for a soft, settled handle and a fit that won't shrink further with washing. Ribbed cuffs and hem provide a comfortable, draught-free finish. Unisex sizing makes it a dependable wardrobe staple for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
