The 2024 Atomic Backland 88 is an all-new ski that perfectly combines touring lightness with solid downhill performance, so you can adventure further, faster and for longer. These skis feature a poplar Light Woodcore and Duracap Sidewalls, which provide powerful yet playful skiing and precise and grippy handling on steep technical routes.
HRZN Tech in the tip increases surface area and allows for effortless float in all soft snow conditions from powder to spring slush. The tip also uses a unique blend of fibreglass and wood, giving them their distinctive look but also creating a light yet strong design to aid climbing efficiency while enhancing manoeuvrability and control on the descent. The Backland 88 is perfectly designed to deliver superior performance for skinning up or ripping on the way back down, giving epic all-round performance for your next touring adventure.
The skins that accompany the Backland 88 skis are the 88/89 - a high quality PreFit Cut skin for the Atomic Backland series, so there’s no additional trimming required. It’s made from a 70% mohair mix for exceptional grip as you climb, and it’s very durable and long lasting. Equipped with Hotmelt Glue, this skin delivers incomparable performance in a variable snow and weather conditions with greater durability.

Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
