The FreeTour Profile blends a poplar and caruba Ultra Light Woodcore with reduced fiberglass, metal, and resin to optimize weight and responsiveness while cutting CO₂ emissions by 26% compared to previous models. The HRZN 3D tip adds float and agility in soft snow, while the Powder Rocker profile ensures playful handling in powder, chop, and crud. Balanced, reliable, and ready for long days in the mountains, the Backland 102 is a freeride skier’s dream touring companion.
Partnered with the Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR, a high-performance touring binding for skiers who demand reliability in the backcountry. Designed for advanced ski tourers, this binding features a Release Value Adjustment up to 12, delivering consistent release and confident downhill performance. The AutoFlex System incorporates a spring in the heel for 5mm of dynamic travel, preserving natural ski flex and improving shock absorption and safety. Returns Process
We are pleased to offer refunds for any items purchased from Snowtrax, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: Returned goods must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
- Exceptions: Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for underwear or face coverings unless the item is clearly faulty.
- Skis & Bindings: Skis and bindings that have been drill mounted are no longer considered new and unused.
- Timeframe: Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. *Extended until 15th Jan for Xmas Gifts purchased from 1st November.
- Returns Note: A completed returns note is essential for processing your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your return once it is received.
