SUMMARY
Slim flexible Level 1 back protector vest for skiers and racersThe Atomic Live Shield AMID Lite Vest Back Protector is Atomic's top-quality Level 1 certified back protection vest for everyday skiing and amateur racing. The defining feature is the AMID Lite Body (Atomic Multi-Directional Impact Deflector Lite) safety technology, which combines maximum Level 1 protection with a uniquely slim and flexible construction that feels more like a base layer than a traditional back protector.
AMID Lite Body's unique foam system absorbs and deflects impact energy while remaining highly flexible and breathable – meaning it adapts to the skier's movement in any temperature without restricting performance. The vest is cut in an Ergonomic Slim Fit that layers invisibly under a race suit or ski jacket, constructed with breathable Elastic Air Mesh sides for excellent ventilation on warm spring days. A full-length front zipper makes donning and doffing easy even in cold conditions, and a height-adjustable, removable elastic waistband provides a personalised, secure fit across different torso lengths.
The entire vest is machine washable, making it a practical and long-lasting piece of protective kit.
