salomon-stance-w-94-skis-22
Stance W 94 Skis 2022

The Salomon Stance W 94 is the widest ski in Salomon's women's Stance line, and it is built for skiers who want the whole mountain rather than just the groomed runs. At 94mm underfoot it has enough width to stay afloat through fresh snow and cut up afternoon crud, while the camber underfoot and the progressive sidecut mean it still lays down a proper carved turn when you point it back at the piste. The rocker in the tip and tail is subtle rather than dramatic, which keeps the ski feeling directional and purposeful instead of loose.

What gives the Stance W 94 its character is the Metal Twin Frame construction. Two sheets of titanal sandwich a karuba and poplar core, and the upper sheet has long sections cut out of the tip and tail which Salomon fills with their C/FX carbon and flax blend. The result is a ski with the damping and edge grip of a full metal build, but without the heavy, dead feeling that usually comes with it. Testers consistently report that it skis lighter than it feels in the hand. It suits a strong, confident skier who likes to drive a ski and wants stability at speed, and it is one of very few women's skis that runs all the way out to 182cm.

Rocker profile: Rocker / Camber / Rocker, Salomon All Terrain Rocker

Features:

94mm waist for all-mountain versatility with genuine soft snow capability

Metal Twin Frame, two titanal layers for stability and edge grip

C/FX carbon and flax inserts in the tip and tail cutouts to cut swing weight

Karuba and poplar woodcore for liveliness with low weight

Full sandwich sidewall construction for power transfer to the edge

Progressive sidecut, directional shape

Advanced to expert

Construction: Karuba and poplar woodcore, dual titanal laminate (Metal Twin Frame) with C/FX carbon and flax inserts, full sandwich sidewalls

Nose / Waist / Tail: 124 / 94 / 106mm @161cm

Radius: 18m @161cm

Weight: 1720g @161cm

Available lengths: 154, 161, 168, 174, 182cm
