qst-stella-160-skis
QST Stella 106 Skis 2023

The Salomon QST Stella 106 is a women's freeride ski for anyone who plans their week around where the soft snow is. At 106mm underfoot it has enough width to float through fresh snow and chop without ever feeling like a chore to turn, and the long progressive rocker in the tip and tail means it pivots easily in tight trees and bumps rather than fighting you. Underfoot there is proper camber, so when the powder runs out and you have to head back down a groomer it still holds a clean, confident edge.

What makes the Stella stand out in the category is how composed it feels for a ski this playful. Cork inserts in the tip and tail soak up chatter, the full wood core gives it life and rebound, and the double sidewall construction adds the shock absorption and power transfer that keep it settled in cut-up afternoon snow. It is a genuine one-ski quiver for an intermediate to advanced skier who wants to spend more time off the piste, and an easy choice as a wider second pair for anyone chasing powder days.

Rocker profile: Salomon describe it as All-Mountain Rocker, rocker / camber / rocker.

Features:

106mm waist for float in soft snow with everyday all-mountain usability

Medium camber underfoot for grip and stability on hard-pack

Long progressive tip and tail rocker for easy turn initiation and release

Cork Damplifier inserts in tip and tail for lightweight vibration absorption

Double Sidewalls for extra strength and power transfer to the edge

Partial twin tip tail

Construction: Full poplar woodcore with C/FX woven carbon and flax reinforcement, double ABS sidewall.

Nose / Waist / Tail: 137 / 106 / 124mm @165cm

Radius: 17m @165cm

Weight: 1810g @165cm

Lengths: 173cm
